The Palace Community Centre is run by volunteers. Without our volunteers, events would not take place - and it is fantastic that so many people are willing to give their time and energy on a purely voluntary basis.
Becoming a Palace volunteer is hugely rewarding and great fun - people can volunteer to help in many ways. We have volunteers who help behind the bar, volunteers who collect glasses during an event, volunteers who make the teas and coffees, volunteers who help at our regular Palace markets, volunteers who help to run bingo and get involved at our regular film nights.
There are many different ways that people can become involved with the Palace and we are always looking to recruit new volunteers. You do not need any prior experience, just plenty of enthusiasm.
